It's always great to have new shops and restaurants to explore as work winds down and the holiday season sets in, so a big welcome to Granny Goose in Green Point and New York pizza slice in Kloof Street. Read about each of these establishments in our latest newsletter and let us know if there are any more to introduce next month.
We're also busy preparing for our AGMs in December, which all business owners and residents are welcome to attend. (Please note that only Bona Fide members of the SRA will be entitled to vote on resolutions presented at each AGM). We have two guest speakers this year: Bruce Good of Name Your Hood will tell about an exciting new development which involves collaboration with the GP/OKCID; and surfer and adventure travel business owner Greg Bertish, who is standing strong after two open heart surgeries, will conclude the meeting with his inspirational talk about being able to overcome obstacles and being actively involved in your community.
The OKCID AGM will take place on 4 December 2013 at the Protea Hotel Fire & Ice, New Church Street and the GPCID AGM will take place on 6 December at the Protea Victoria Junction Hotel in Somerset Road, Green Point. We look forward to seeing you then.
If you have any feedback or news you'd like us to share in our next newsletter please pop an email to email@example.com and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
